Anti-Spam and Unsolicited Marketing Policy

SalesProof, its employees, affiliates, agencies and third-party suppliers are prohibited from advertising SalesProof.io through unsolicited messages.

Last Updated: 4 August 2026

1.Purpose and Scope

SalesProof is operated by Habami Limited ("SalesProof", "we", "us", "our"). This policy sets out our binding position on unsolicited commercial messaging and applies to every message that advertises, promotes or refers to SalesProof.io, regardless of who sends it or which infrastructure it is sent from.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy and forms part of the terms under which we engage employees, contractors, affiliates, resellers, marketing agencies and third-party suppliers.

2.Prohibition on Unsolicited Marketing

SalesProof does not send, and does not permit any party acting on its behalf to send, unsolicited commercial messages.

Habami Limited, its employees, officers, contractors, affiliates, resellers, marketing agencies and third-party suppliers are expressly prohibited from advertising or promoting SalesProof.io by means of unsolicited email, SMS, instant message, automated or pre-recorded calling, or bulk messaging of any kind, including through purchased, scraped, rented or harvested contact lists.

This prohibition applies to every channel and every sender, whether the message originates from SalesProof infrastructure or from infrastructure operated by a supplier, agency or partner. No agency, reseller or supplier engagement authorises unsolicited outreach on our behalf. Any such activity is a breach of contract and is grounds for immediate termination of that engagement.

We do not purchase, rent, sell, trade or harvest email address lists, and we do not knowingly accept leads sourced by any of those means.

3.Who This Policy Binds

The prohibition in section 2 binds all of the following:

  • Habami Limited, trading as SalesProof
  • Employees, officers and directors
  • Contractors, freelancers and temporary staff
  • Affiliates, resellers, referral partners and introducers
  • Marketing, demand-generation, PR and lead-generation agencies
  • Third-party suppliers, including email service providers and outsourced sales teams

Every engagement with an external party that involves outbound communication carries this policy as a contractual term. Suppliers are required to confirm compliance before any campaign is authorised.

4.Messages We Do Send

SalesProof sends transactional and service messages, and consented marketing only.

Transactional and service messages

  • Candidate assessment invitations and reminders, issued at the explicit instruction of a customer workspace
  • Authentication, sign-in and magic-link messages requested by the recipient
  • Account, billing, subscription and security notices
  • Support correspondence in response to an enquiry
  • Service, availability and material policy-change notices

Marketing messages

Marketing email is sent only to recipients who have given consent, or who have an existing relationship with us that permits such contact under applicable law (including the UK GDPR, PECR, the EU GDPR and the US CAN-SPAM Act). Every marketing message identifies SalesProof as the sender, uses accurate subject lines and headers, and carries a working unsubscribe link.

Consent is never assumed, bundled or inferred from an unrelated interaction. Unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly and, in all cases, within the periods required by applicable law. Suppression applies across all marketing streams, not only the campaign the recipient opted out of.

A recipient may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or by emailing support@salesproof.io. Transactional and service messages relating to an active account or an assessment a customer has invited you to may continue, as they are not marketing.

6.Customer Obligations

Customers using SalesProof to invite candidates must have a lawful basis for contacting each recipient and must not use the platform to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages of any kind.

  • Assessment invitations must be sent only to candidates engaged in a genuine recruitment process.
  • Uploaded or imported contact data must not originate from purchased, scraped or harvested lists.
  • Platform messaging must not be used for marketing, promotion or solicitation unrelated to an assessment.

Breach of these obligations may result in suspension or termination of the workspace.

7.Sending Infrastructure and Authentication

All SalesProof application email is sent from authenticated, dedicated sending domains under our control. Our sending domains publish SPF and DKIM records and are covered by a DMARC policy, so recipients can verify that a message claiming to come from SalesProof genuinely did.

  • Application, assessment and transactional email is sent from notify.salesproof.io.
  • Authentication and magic-link email is sent from auth@salesproof.io.
  • Business correspondence is sent from salesproof.io mailboxes.

A message advertising SalesProof.io that does not authenticate against these domains did not come from us, and may be an attempt to impersonate our brand. Please report it using section 9.

8.Enforcement

We investigate every report of unsolicited messaging referencing SalesProof.io. Where a breach is confirmed, we take action proportionate to the breach, which may include:

  • Immediate suspension of the campaign and the sending credentials involved
  • Termination of the agency, reseller, affiliate or supplier engagement
  • Suspension or termination of a customer workspace
  • Disciplinary action in the case of employees or contractors
  • Notification of the relevant email service provider and, where required, the supervisory authority

9.Reporting Suspected Spam

If you have received a message advertising SalesProof.io that you did not consent to, report it to support@salesproof.io and we will investigate.

Please include the full message headers where possible. Full headers are the hidden technical envelope above the visible message, containing the Received: chain, Message-ID, Return-Path and DKIM-Signature. Most mail clients expose them via an option such as "Show original", "View source" or "View message details".

Reports are reviewed by a person, not an automated filter, and we will confirm the outcome to you on request.

10.Contact

Questions about this policy, or about a message you have received, should be sent to support@salesproof.io.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
